BRIAN MCLAREN FEELS “DIRTY” OVER SADDAM HUSSEIN’S EXECUTION

Brian McLaren, a leading “theologian” in the neo-liberal cult of the Emergent Church, was on Jim Wallis’ blog God’s Politics a couple of days ago whining about the execution of Saddam Hussein.

McLaren quietly whimpers, “even if I supported capital punishment, I think I would still have felt dirty. Perhaps I’m too morally thin-skinned, but taking the human life of a person in the name of human life brings no sense of justice or satisfaction to me. Rather, it brings the opposite.”

Well, I have a couple of questions for you Guru McLaren. How do you feel about personally leading thousands away from trust in God’s inerrant, verbal and plenary inspired Word and shipwrecking their faith? Feeling a little dirty over that?

Or how about leading thousands into God’s judgment through the spiritual adultery of the Gnostic contemplative mysticism you teach? You feeling just the slightest pangs of remorse there? I tell you what Brian, why don’t you take a five year moritorium from teaching your brand of Emergent counterfeit Christianity and go and learn what this means:

“You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.”
(Matthew 22:29, ESV)
