Because Apprising Ministries is one of “these vigilante voices” Shane Claiborne is whining about in an article posted today at Christianity Today I am glad to bring it to your attention. This piece, which seems to be quoting Claiborne’s post at God’s Politics, also says Claiborne, “wanted to talk to his critics. ‘Unfortunately, it’s difficult to communicate with folks who will not talk to you,…’ ”

But apparently it’s not hard for Shane Claiborne to make the false claim that people uot;will not talk with [him]” when he hasn’t seemed to make any effort himself to contact them. I personally know the people involved with what Claiborne called “rogue” websites and none of us have been contacted by Claiborne. And therefore we couldn’t have refused to speak with him.
