Apprising Ministries has often talked about the awful consequences of embracing the man-centered Church Growth Movement which slithered out from the spiritual black hole known as Fuller Theological Seminary.

From about the mid-70’s on, as the CGM poisoned more and more of mainstream evangelicalism, perhaps its most heinous effect has been the rise of the Seeker Driven megachurches with their new breed prophet-pastors.

Since the CGM was not a move of God it has produced scores of, we will assume, well-meaning people who have simply been deluded into thinking that they are genuine Christians when they have never been born again.

Now consider this: Many of these unregenerate self-proclaimed “Christ-followers” have gone on to now stand behind evangelical pulpits. This means unbelievers who know not God and know not His Gospel are pastors.

With this in mind, I told you about Eric Dykstra, one of those new breed Seeker Driven prophet-pastors, last year in pieces like Crossing Church Of Eric Dykstra Draws Controversy and Eric Dykstra And The Crossing Church.

This clip of Dykstra in action below comes from Strong and Wild – Week I Jesus, Strong and Wild. While there is truth within, it’s quite hard to imagine a real pastor sent by God would ever speak of Jesus in such a crass manner:
