Knowing full well there are many who think the warning is far-fetched Apprising Ministries continues coverage of increasing syncretism in apostatizing contemporary evangelicalism.

Just about a year ago to the day I told you that Word Faith Heretics Like Creflo Dollar Draw Nearer To Evangelical Acceptance. At the time, few thought T.D. Jakes would be mainstreamed.

Yet, but a couple of weeks before that happened—courtesy of James MacDonald and Mark Driscoll at Elephant Room 2, here’s Creflo Dollar on James Robison’s Life Today TV:

By the way, this is the same program upon which wildly popular Southern Baptist Bible teacher Beth Moore graces on each Wednesday. And it’s hardly the first time Dollar’s been on; e.g. here he is from 2010:

Notice the ostensibly conservative charismatic James Robison attributes his telling Dollar “you can flat preach” as coming from God. Perhaps it won’t be long before Creflo Dollar’s up at a Bill Hybels leadership conference.

I’ve already shown you in T.D. Jakes: Masterful Showman that Jakes has actually been there and done that for Hybels. In fact, Bill Hybels just spoke the other day at Jakes’ rather ostentatious 35th Anniversary Celebration:

Christian Post even tells us that heretical Word Faith prosperity preacher Bishop TD Jakes Honored as ‘Prophetic Voice’ at 35th Anniversary Celebration as:

Jakes celebrated his 35th anniversary of ministry Friday with surprise tributes from Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Pastor Paula White and Chaka Khan at the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas. Celebrities and Christian leaders honored the black minister as a “spiritual leader” and “prophetic voice.” (source)

As it concerns leading WF pastrix Paula White, I told you in Elephant In The Room: T.D. Jakes And Paula White that she considers Jakes her “spiritual father.” Why not, after-all it was Jakes who chose to launch White:

Her career got a megaboost when she met Bishop T.D. Jakes, pastor of the Dallas megachurch, the Potter’s House. Jakes, who is black, helped catapult White to superstardom – particularly among black women – when he invited her to speak at his Woman Thou Art Loosed Conference in 2000. (source)

In fact, as you’ll see below, not long ago while hosting TBN’s Praise the Lord program Jakes introduced White as “this tremendous woman of God” whom he calls “pastor extraordinaire”:

Well, apparently at the 35th annual shindig for Jakes pastrix Paula has now taken the spiritual father talk one step further as Christian Post Reporter Katherine T. Phan tells us:

“As Paul is to Timothy, so is Bishop Jakes to me,” said White, pastor of two megachurches in Florida, Without Walls International Church and New Destiny Christian Center. (source)

So, above White is clearly equating Jakes to an authoritative spiritual teacher with her as his mentor/child. Now let’s keep in mind that T.D. Jakes has been slowly entering mainstream evangelicalism for quite some time.

This means we now have every right, an indeed an obligation, to examine his teachings carefully; and because he is the one teaching pastrix Paula White, as Paul did Timothy, then her doctrine directly reflects back upon Jakes.

In closing this, for now, we’ll call Paula White to the stand as a spiritual character witness for her doctrinal mentor T.D. Jakes. Here’s a video clip of White in action so you can see an example of her teaching for yourself.

Below White is preaching the classic Word Faith sow a seed of money so God will be obligated to bless you; and actually she’s doing for her spiritual father T.D. Jakes at his Potter’s House in December of 2010:

Remember, Jakes is Paul to her Timothy; so we must assume he taught her this; or at least approves, since it’s in his church. Finally, following you’ll be able to compare the preaching of T.D. Jakes himself with Paula White.

The first clip aired just a couple of weeks ago from his May 29th The Potter’s Touch; then follows White. As you watch, you’ll see both T.D. Jakes and Paula White are selling the exact same Word Faith spiritual lottery tickets.

From my time in the WF movement early in my Christian walk I can tell you personally that we’d sit there praying that just maybe our spiritual number would finally come up for our “breakthrough” to healing, finances, etc.
