ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM: T.D. JAKES AND HIS PASTRIX SHERYL BRADY

Apprising Ministries has been documenting, as well as reminding you, that the heretical Word Faith movement continues heading toward acceptance within the very mainstream of evangelicalism. It’s simply beyond question that The Elephant Room of James MacDonald and his New Calvinist cohost Mark Driscoll have contributed to this syncretism.

They’re also receiving an able assist from others within their new ecumenical evangelical magisterium. For example two-time ER veteran prophet-leader Steven Furtick is even further down that track now than before as evidenced by Steven Furtick, James MacDonald, And Joel Osteen; not to mention Word-Faith Heretic Rod Parsley With Prayer Cloth Power!

It doesn’t come as any real surprise as we consider the fact that Furtick is a huge fan of another WF mogul T.D. Jakes, who was also in ER2 with him. Here you’ll get another example of the putrid fruit of the ministry of T.D. Jakes, which because of ER2 and Steven Furtick, moves closer to the mainsteam. The below is from the 9/1/11 TBN Praise the Lord program.

The three WF pastrixes you’ll see Jakes introduce were the also featured speakers at his Woman Thou Art Loosed 2011 (WTAL), which was hosted by the Lakewood Church of fellow Word Faith prosperity preacher Joel Osteen. Incidentally, even after ER2, this same heretical trio is back once again for Jakes’ WTAL 2012:

At 3:50 in Jakes tells us of great things God’s supposedly doing. Specifically he refers to The Potter’s House North (TPHN) where he tells us we “need to discover the anointing going on up there.” He then introduces pastrix Sheryl Brady, whom T.D. Jakes refers to as “one of my daughters” and personally called to serve there:

You should be able to see that his trinitarian-modalism isn’t the only baggage T.D. Jakes comes with because it’s simply beyond question that he is indeed a WF prosperity preacher; this despite James MacDonald implying that in private conversations he’s had/is having Jakes says he’s moving away from WF preaching.

However, the evidence clearly proves otherwise. Should you think I’m making too much of pastrix Sheryl Brady, below is a tweet a couple of months back from Hillsong Australia pastrix Christine Caine. You might recall her from Word Faith Pastrix Christine Caine Preaches Sunday Morning Sermon For Steven Furtick:

Still not convinced that Brady’s star is on the rise, then consider this picture below of Seeker Driven Major General Ed Young, Jr. and his wife with WF pastrix Sheryl and her husband “Bishop” Joby Brady from June of this year:

This gives you a further illustration of the rapid blurring of doctrinal lines because the Brady’s are straight out of T.D. Jakes’ WF prosperity preaching bag. In fact, you’re also about to see that Jakes himself is very close with the Bradys, whom he considers family. The following video clip comes from the Media section of Sheryl Brady’s TPHN website.

It’s taken from a service where Jakes tells us pastrix Sheryl and “Bishop” Joby Brady are “coming home.” He’ll inform us that he’s known the Bradys for over 20 years and explains how they started following Jakes around. They even moved to “the hills of West Virginia” and joined his church. Then when “God told” Jakes to move to Dallas, apparently the Lord also ordered the Bradys as well because they then followed Jakes to Dallas.

At 3:58 Jakes says “the Bradys are coming home” in order “to help me do the work God has called me to do.” He goes on to tell us that Sheryl and Joby Brady have now “come full circle.” He tells pastrix Sheryl, “it’s amazing how easy it is to preach with you” because “there’s a DNA between us, we’re all connected.” Jakes says to “Bishop” Joby “somehow our destinies were connected.”

You’ll also see, after watching Jakes welcome them home with a big group hug, that it’s beyond any reasonable doubt T.D. Jakes has the same high regard for them as they do of him; they each think the other’s anointed ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jakes then says, “pastor’s gonna help me in the work, bishop’s gonna help me in the work” carrying out “the vision God has given me.”

Finally at 7:45, Joby tells Jakes:

there’s no words to describe our love for you; and our commitment to you… We commit ourself to you, and we commit ourself to the vision of the Potter’s House. We love you with all of our heart.

We’re with you one hundred percent. Whatever’s in our heart, do it; and we’ll be behind you, reinforcing your vision and believing in every step you take.”

In closing, for now, I ask you to keep all the above in mind as I leave you with the following. In the video clip below—a la pastrix Paula White—here’s another of T.D. Jakes’ spiritual daughters, pastrix Sheryl Brady, in action along with her husband “Bishop” Joby. This kind of lunacy in the Lord’s Name speaks for itself.

The question then becomes: How are we to have any respect for the work of T.D. Jakes when this is precisely what his spiritual “DNA” produces? In other words, the Bradys are merely another version of him:
