CRITICIZING WF PROSPERITY PREACHER T.D. JAKES MAKES KEN SILVA A RACIST?

I’ve pointed out many times now that as a general rule, and a courtesy, we do not publish email without the permission of the sender.
At the same time, all email sent to AM and Christian Research Network is considered the property of Apprising Ministries so we may indeed publish unsolicited email for the purposes of edification.
Such is the case here:

I do not believe that the basis for your continued beating up and berating a fellow Christian is because you want to spread the truth. If that was the case, you’d be focusing on so many of your own; instead, you focus on Bishop Jakes. I feel it is jealousy, envy, and blatant racism that is the cause of your attacks on him. You cannot receive what has been given to you, because your heart is not right concerning this man. Just plow in the field you have been given by God, and you will see results. You will not tear down his ministry; you folks have tried it and he is still here in Dallas and all over the world. God is in control. Find something else to do.

Thank you for contacting Apprising Ministries. Please know there was no offense taken and I received this as written from a point of sincere concern. I’m responding in the tone of two people talking about issues over coffee. I just put all of this up front due to the coldness of the written language, which lacks the ability to distinguish inflections, etc.
I will admit here that I needed to lean on Ephesians 4:32 for my reaction and reply to your little rant below where you begin: “I do not believe that the basis for your continued beating up and berating a fellow Christian is because you want to spread the truth.”
Fair enough there; Sheila, you are most certainly entitled to your opinion, though I will strongly disagree here that what I’ve been doing is “beating up and berating” any “fellow Christian,” period. You’re welcome to try and refute the facts e.g. in LOOK AT EVANGELICALISM’S WORD FAITH FUTURE WITH T.D. JAKES.
You then continue: “If that was the case, you’d be focusing on so many of your own; instead, you focus on Bishop Jakes.” Truly, when I first read this statement from you I wasn’t sure what you meant by “your own.”
Well, that is, until your next sentence: “I feel it is jealousy, envy, and blatant racism that is the cause of your attacks on him.” Do you really want to play the race card and accuse me of “blatant racism,” seriously?
Am I to understand that, because I’m not African American, you believe I haven’t the right to hold T.D. Jakes accountable to God’s Word? I would only be allowed to address other Caucasians, i.e. my “own?”
If so, I’m very sorry that you’d feel this way because the color of one’s skin has no bearing whatsoever in what I do personally; or with holding the teaching of someone who claims to be sent by Jesus as a minister of the Gospel up to the light of Scripture.
Sheila, you need to know that I’m not the least bit jealous or envious of T.D. Jakes. First of all, he’s teaching false doctrine; and secondly, if Jakes truly is a Christian, he’s going to be held accountable for the huge forum he has (cf. James 3:1).
Next you opine: “You cannot receive what has been given to you, because your heart is not right concerning this man.” Well, it’s a good thing you aren’t being judgmental, eh. How can you know my heart? Answer: You can’t.
Then you offer: “Just plow in the field you have been given by God, and you will see results.” Actually, that’s precisely what I am doing here in the ministry Jesus has given me. However, I have no interest at all in “results,” those belong to Him.
Finally you declare: “You will not tear down his ministry; you folks have tried it and he is still here in Dallas and all over the world. God is in control. Find something else to do.” “You folks?” Did you mean Caucasians? Are you actually implying that criticism of T.D. Jakes is racially motivated?
Well, that aside, let me reply to the last part of your email this way: You have no real basis to accuse me of racism; and the fact is, you will not tear down this ministry because God is in control. So perhaps, Sheila, you’d be wise to take your own advice and find something else to do.
May God forgive you for wrongly judging one of His pastor-teachers and open your eyes that you may recognize the time in which you live.
Sincerely,
Ken Silva, pastor-teacher
