God created man in His own image (Genesis 1:26-27, 5:1, 9:6).

Man defiled the image of God in man in which he was created (Genesis 3; Romans 5).

God became man through the eternal Son, who is the image of God, perfectly reflecting the image of God (John 1:14; Philippians 2:7; Colossians 1:15-17; Matthew 5:17-18; Romans 10:4, 8:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 2:22; 1 John 3:5) .

The Perfect Image of God suffered the wrath of God to satisfy Perfect Justice for the crimes defiled image-bearers committed against God (Romans 3:21-26; Romans 5:9).

The Perfect Image-Bearer reconciled defiled image-bearers through His death, and was bodily raised from the dead for the justification of defiled image-bearers (Romans 3:24; Romans 5:9-10; 1 John 2:2, 4:10; 1 Corinthians 15).

Defiled image-bearers are redeemed by grace alone to be conformed to the Perfect Image and Glorified Image-Bearer (2 Timothy 1:9; 1 Peter 1:3-5; Romans 8:29, 9:23; Ephesians 1:7, 11, 2:8-10; Colossians 1:14; 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14).

Sanctified image-bearers will one day be glorified image-bearers perfectly reflecting the Image and Image-Bearer they were created to reflect (Colossians 3:10; Ephesians 4:24; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:21; Hebrews 10:14).
