T.D. JAKES ENDORSES WF PASTRIX PAULA WHITE…AGAIN

AAA0

In recent Apprising Ministries articles like T.D. Jakes Repents Of Word Faith Heresy And Mythology? and T.D. Jakes Prsents Word Faith Leadership Conference I covered a very critical issue concerning the move to make a mainstream evangelical out of “trinitarian-modalist” and Word Faith prosperity preacher T.D. Jakes.

You’ll see e.g. in James MacDonald Was A Bit Late In Mainstreaming T.D. Jakes, this includes Dr. Jack Graham. whom I mentioned in Wishful Thinking About Women Pastors From Dr. Jack Graham? Briefly, Graham  is pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX; the lead vision-caster for PowerPoint Ministries and:

Dr. Graham has served two terms as president of the Southern Baptist Convention, the largest American Protestant denomination, with 16 million members and as president of the SBC Pastor’s Conference. (source)

Graham was also in the ill-fated Elephant Room 2 of James MacDonald and co-host Mark Driscoll, which further opened the door for Jakes into the mainstream of the Christian community. This is a place T.D. Jakes certainly does not belong. He is clearly in the very same WF camp as false teachers such as Kenneth Copeland:

On 28 September 1998 Jakes spoke on Praise The Lord, hosted by Paul and Jan Crouch, regarding Kenneth Copeland:

Kenneth Copeland sent a prophecy to me and shared that God was going to send me to the White House. And I was so busy in the Potter’s House that the idea of going to the White House was totally absurd to me. But I respected him as a man of God and we just prayed over it and received it.” ((T. D. Jakes discussing Kenneth Copeland, Praise the Lord, TBN, 28 September 1998.))

The association of T. D. Jakes with such well-known Word of Faith and Counterfeit Revival teachers raises troubling questions about him. (source, emphasis mine)

Yes it does, to say the very least. It’s to the shame of evangelical leaders that something like the following even needs to be explained. However, in this time of spiritually prissy postmodernism way too many people are afraid to make anything close to a stand for proper biblical doctrine. It’s not wrong to criticize someone’s false teaching.

In fact, it’s in love that we do so. We must look at the evidence as if in a court of law and T.D. Jakes is on trial for being a teacher of Word Faith doctrine. This is a way that we as good Bereans do what God has said to do — test everything (1 Thessalonians 5:21). It’s also to follow the admonition of our Lord Jesus Christ to:

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?”

“So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.”
(Matthew 7:15-20)

What I’m about to show you from T.D. Jakes is evidence of the fruit of his teaching, by which Jesus says we will recognize whether or not he is a teacher of false doctrine. You’re about to see, again, that Jakes’ involvement with notorious WF preacher Pastrix Paula White goes far beyond being merely associated with this charlatan.

Just a few days ago T.D. Jakes tweeted the following:

The #PLConf in the tweet from T.D. Jakes refers to his The International Pastors and Leadership Conference 2014 (IPLC) that recently wrapped up a little over a week ago:

You need to know that years ago Jakes helped launch the WF ministry of Pastrix Paula White. She wasn’t one of the scheduled speakers at this year’s IPLC, though she has been previously. ((http://bit.ly/1ldz2hA, accessed 3/17/14.))  Even so, it seems T.D. Jakes is quoting something White shared  from the platform of IPLC while she was addressing this year’s gathering.

Those of us familiar with WF language recognize it’s the typical jargon preached at virtually every event. A type of spiritual lottery where one hopes that God is about to “unlock” your numbers so  you’ll receive your winnings aka “breakthrough” as a manifestation of a “double portion” of whatever you’re aiming for; health, wealth, etc.

In any event, we do know that White was present at IPLC:

Here’s a bit of her message at IPLC 2011, which she posted herself. ((https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKVsn6AvS_Y, accessed 3/17/14.)) After a few minutes of absolutely classic WF preaching, pay close attention beginning at 6:10 of this clip and you’ll hear pastrix White begin to pay her homage to her one spiritual father T.D. Jakes:

As I previously pointed out e.g. in Elephant in the Room: T.D. Jakes and Paula White, a gigantic elephant in the room concerning Jakes is his close relationship with Paula White. I told you above that he helped launch her upon the Christian community. Well, White has mentioned this fact so many times that it’s easily proven.

For example, there’s WF Pastrix Paula White: As Paul Is To Timothy, So T.D. Jakes Is To Me. Within I shared this quote from the June 12, 2012 Christian Post report Bishop TD Jakes Honored as ‘Prophetic Voice’ at 35th Anniversary Celebration:

Jakes celebrated his 35th anniversary of ministry Friday with surprise tributes from Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Pastor Paula White and Chaka Khan at the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas. Celebrities and Christian leaders honored the black minister as a “spiritual leader” and “prophetic voice.” (source)

And just look who was also in attendance to help Jakes be celebrated as a “spiritual leader” and “prophetic voice”; the aforementioned Evangelical Ecumenical Magisterium ((see Evangelical Ecumenical Magisterium Member Steven Furtick with an Ode to Self)) member James MacDonald:

As it concerns Paula White, a couple of years ago in Pastrix Paula White, T.D. Jakes, & the Black Convertible Bentley I brought out that:

Her career got a megaboost when she met Bishop T.D. Jakes, pastor of the Dallas megachurch, the Potter’s House. Jakes, who is black, helped catapult White to superstardom – particularly among black women – when he invited her to speak at his Woman Thou Art Loosed Conference in 2000. (source)

In fact, as you’ll see below, T.D. Jakes hosted TBN’s Praise the Lord program back on 9/1/11, which featured White, Pastrix Cindy Trimm and Pastrix Sheryl Brady, whom Jakes personally installed as pastrix of his Potter’s House North Dallas. They were promoting Jakes’ Woman Thou Art Loosed 2011 apostasia-palooza.

You’ll hear that T.D. Jakes introduces Paula White as “this tremendous woman of God” whom he actually calls “pastor extraordinaire.” Quite obviously, Jakes has no problem advancing as elders women who’re in rebellion against God’s Word. This will also be a coming wave of the future within evangelicalism.

Watch closely as Paula White tells T.D. Jakes and his wife that he’s her “spiritual father” and they are her mentors:

A large part of who I am—the development, the cultivation—the staying on a track, the maturing [in my life] is, is, due to the people that I have the privilege to sit with [here]—that I have been able to call my spiritual father and mother for almost 23 years. I adore, admire, love, and [respect you]…

It’s simply beyond question that T.D. Jakes has been one of Paula White’s most influential teachers and that he fully endorses her WF fables. It’s also interesting, as well as telling, that next month Jakes is set for Unleashed 2014 (U2014) at the social gathering (it’s not a church in any Biblical sense) of pastrix White:

As I close this, for now, let me also draw to your attention that White’s U2014 will also feature Kim Walker-Smith of the Jesus Culture (JC) band and movement ((http://new.jesusculture.com/about/, accessed 3/17/14.)) as you can see below:

You might recall from Louie Giglio, Passion 2013,and Jesus Culture that JC and Walker-Smith come from the theological train wreck happening at Bethel Church (BC). Let me also take the time to remind you that BC is headed up by über hyper-charismatic and New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) spiritual wingnut Bill Johnson.

Since T.D. Jakes and his spiritual progeny Pastrix Paula White are the focus of this piece, Lord willing, another time we’ll look further into Johnson, Jesus Culture, and Walker-Smith. Here I’ll simply refer you to Friends of Bethel Church, Home of Jesus Culture; an article I wrote concerning this movement a couple of years ago.

It’s vital that you come to realize what a strong and powerful counterfeit this JC movement of the NAR is. Here’s an example from one of their prayer/worship meetings. Notice how pious it all sounds:

[mejsvideo src=”https://www.apprising.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/JCWalker-Smith.mp4″ width=640 height=360]

For now, it’s important to note that Satan is after your youth and he’s the one uniting these youth movements like JC, Louis Giglio’s Passion 268 Generation and IHOP. ((see Francis Chan Declares “I love Mike Bickle of IHOP)) And so, it appears the enemy is now going to be making inroads into the Word Faith movement as well in order to make all the younger sectors of charismatics into one.

Do you think it’s merely a coincidence that over the past couple of years these same names keep popping up together like interlocking circles? If so, I exhort you to think again as this is fruit of all this hyper-charismaticism and Contemplative Spirituality/Mysticism, which serves to bring together these who are playing the spiritual fool.
