In the wake of the minus reply from Dr. Frank Page received by Apprising Ministries concerning the literal fact that Dr. Ed Young, Sr., a former two time president of the Southern Baptist Convention, along with his celebrity-chasing son–also SBC–Ed Young, Jr. are going to share the platform with Oneness Pentecostal “Bishop” T.D.Jakes an issue has now been raised that the Lord Himself will make sure His Church is going to have to address.

“Whoever acknowledges Me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in Heaven. But whoever disowns Me before men, I will disown him before my Father in Heaven.” (Matthew 10:32-33)

Didn’t You See That Dark Red Sky This Morning?

How absurd it is that men like Page are busy rushing from meeting to meeting and conference to conference supposedly in service to a God whose nature they don’t understand and whose Word they will not defend. And right now our “scholars” dash off to study history and theology but do not recognize the history they are right now a part of concerning a once abstract theology that Christ is also right now calling them to live.

Know this, the doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not optional and the Lord will see to it that this issue will only grow hotter until His real people stand up and defend what He has said about Who He is. Then: Men like Athanasius risked their very lives to stand for the absolute unchanging Truth of Holy Scripture. And from the testimony of such brave men come these Creeds evangelical leaders say that they “affirm.”

Now: Men like Frank Page did not even have the courtesy of actually responding to a brother SBC pastor whose heart is held captive by Christ and His Word. As we watch the Body of Christ chase Gnostic shadows in the contemplative mysticism which has now slithered in to swallow up the American Christian Church consider that no one would ever want to cut off the head of men-lovers like Rick Warren or Rob Bell or Brian McLaren.

But then again, these dreamers are not made the same as the Apostle Paul and Barnabas:

Some men came down from Judea and began teaching the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” And when Paul and Barnabas had great dissension and debate with them, the brethren determined that Paul and Barnabas and some others of them should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders concerning this issue. (Acts 15:1-2, NASB)

Paging Paul And Barnabas!!! And where are “elders” in the evangelical camp right now as we prepare to witness the American Christian Church cave in on the non-negotiable doctrine of the Holy Trinity? Sadly, too busy falling in love with each other as they learn how to be better “Christ followers.” O Lord God; we beseech Thee, please save us from such.
