The quote below is from the MSNBC story referenced below in the Christian Research Net post Pope Benedict Issues Statement: All Other Denominations Are Counterfeit Churches. This is exactly what Rome has always taught:

Christ established here on earth only one church, the document said. The other communities cannot be called churches in the proper sense because they do not have apostolic succession the ability to trace their bishops back to Christ’s original apostles.

This is really nothing new in the doctrines of demons we know as Roman Catholicism , only now Jesus has brought it right out into the open for anyone who can read. So I wonder: Just what are leaders within The Ecumenical Church of Deceit going to do?

Men like Purpose Driven Pope Rick Warren, or not so closet ecumenicists like ECT advocates Chuck Colson and J.I. Packer as well as leaders in the neo-liberal cult of the Emergent Church like Brian McLaren and Dan Kimball and Rob Bell and Erwin McManus who openly embrace apostate Roman Catholicism as a “Christian” tradition and the Church of Rome as a Christian denomination.

I will speak plainly. Here’s what’s at stake for these pathetic “Protestant” posers and cowardly Christian compromisers:

Father Augustine Di Noia, undersecretary for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, said the document did not alter the commitment for ecumenical dialogue, but aimed to assert Catholic identity in those talks. The Church is not backtracking on ecumenical commitment, Di Noia told Vatican radio.

But, as you know, it is fundamental to any kind of dialogue that the participants are clear about their own identity. That is, dialogue cannot be an occasion to accommodate or soften what you actually understand yourself to be.”

In other words gentlemen you’ve just been told that you must accept the Church of Rome as THE true Church and the Pope as THE universal bishop and THE Vicar of Christ. That fellas is the only dialogue Rome will actually have with you no matter how much they tell you that they like your cute little costumes or even how much candy they give you for your bags for spiritual trick or treat.

So John Ratzenberger, pernicious papal pretender, in keeping with the feeling of the Roman Catholic Church that “it is fundamental to any kind of dialogue that the participants are clear about their own identity,” I close this for now with some words from Martin Luther that likely you have heard before:

Since the papal church not only neglects the command of Christ but even compels the people to ignore it and to act against it, it is certain that it is not Christ’s church but the synagogue of Satan which prescribes sin and prohibits righteousness. It clearly and indisputably follows that it must be the abomination of Antichrist and the furious harlot of the devil. (What Luther Says, II: 1019)

This is offered sir just so you know where you personally stand in the eyes of the glorious God that you so foolishly claim to be the sole Vicar for. Know this, any further dialogue with the genuine Body of Christ will now goes as follows: How dare you have the audacity to attempt to usurp the place of the Holy Spirit! And so today I sternly admonish you in the Lord to repent of leading this gross spiritual rebellion against God’s Church immediately.
