Odd how so many Bible-believing pastors are now seeing the teachings of Rob Bell, a recognized leader in the emerging church, as aberrant at best and heretical at worst. Yet all the while Bell apologists insist that his teachings are in line with–the faithful Word (Titus 1:9, NASB).

Apprising Ministries presents the following piece as another example of faithful shepherds protecting their flocks from the influence of the Emergent Church who–distort the Truth in order to draw away disciples after them. (Acts 20:30). Jerry Breedlove, pastor of Crossroads Fellowship, informs us that:

Granted the person I was speaking with was an Associate Pastor and not Rob himself, but none the less Mars Hill Bible Church said they didn’t believe that what I was getting at was the gospel.
