Enemy Forces Have Been Cutting Through The Perimeter Of Proper Doctrine For Years

Apprising Ministries told you in the post Tony Jones And Ken Silva Agree! that this leading spokesman for the postliberal cult of the egregiously ecumenical Emerging Church aka Emergent Church—now morphing into Emergence Christianity—(EC) has declared concerning the popular youth festival Cornerstone:

I will say this: I think we can see Cornerstone as a sort of belwether of evangelicalism. Five and ten years ago, the seminar tents were populated with seminars on modern, evidential apologetics (Norman Geisler was a name I heard a lot) and pro-life stragegy sessions. Today, the seminars are on creation care, developing new monastic communities, centering prayer, and human rights. Phyllis Tickle and I talked about the great emergence.

And, for the first time at Cornerstone, Christians who favor gay rights and GLBT inclusion in the church were allowed to speak alongside those from “ex-gay” ministries. This is the shift that’s taking place in evangelicalism, people. Get ready for it. (Online source, bold his)

As one who’s been tracking the seducing spirits and their doctrines of demons slithering around the EC I can tell you Jones is dead-on-target. The EC, which is simply a postmodern version of the man-centered Church Growth Movement, has made tremendous inroads into mainstream evangelicalism—largely through seemingly harmless “alternative” Youth/Young Adult worship services.

But when all is said and done a core doctrine of the EC from its initial hatching in Hell was a reimagined version of so-called “Christian” mysticism, which is actually a highly existential i.e. feelings-oriented Contemplative Spirituality/Mysticism (CSM).

In order to make this fly the EC imbedded itself into mainstream evangelical seminaries and denominational leadership structures of as they began to re-educate pastors through relentless propaganda coming out of evangelical publishing houses.

How could someone like me with but a high school education figure this out? Easy; I listened to the Spirit as He tried to warn the mainline denominations through e.g. Dr. Walter Martin (1928-1989), who held four earned degrees. Circa 1985 Martin told us exactly how Satan injected his poison into the mainline of the visible church:

There is a progression that takes place in liberal theology: It begins with a corrupt bibliology, a corrupt view of the nature and the inspiration of Scripture. They have a corrupt theology because once you are picking and choosing from the Bible what you want, your theology has to suffer from it, because your human reason is corrupt… every major theological seminary that has turned from orthodox Christianity began with disbelief of Biblical doctrine. There wasn’t a single exception.

This corrupt Bibliology then lead them to the next step. Their theology began to be touched by it, their view of the Cross, the Virgin Birth were both immediately questioned; then came the miracles of Christ… And finally they had emptied the Gospel of all its content; they were simply using the outward shell so that they go on collecting money from the people and the churches; because they knew that if the people in the pew knew that they were apostate, they’d throw them out. So the strategy was hang on to the trust funds; hang on to the money we’ve got; hang on the properties we control, and we will gradually educate the laymen into this new approach to theology.

And then finally we will take control of everything. The gradual process of feeding you theological poison until you become immunized enough so that you don’t know what’s happening to you. And when you wake up to what’s happening to you, it’s too late they’ve got everything. That is not a baseless charge, I stand prepared to prove that the Cult of Liberal Theology in the United States has deliberately and consistently followed this methodology to entrap, control and dominate the denominations and the churches of the United States and our educational institutions. EC leaders learned from their evil forebears; they knew that in order for it to advance their pet projects, one of which is affirming a lifestyle of the unrepentant practice of homosexuality as a viable one for the Christian, the EC would have to level the very same attack against Sola Scriptura.

And its with the issue of homosexuality that we are able to light up the night sky with the Word of God so that you should be able to see the advance of enemy forces because the sinfulness of homosexuality is as clear as it gets in Scripture. But if you won’t stand against this; then you won’t stand, period.
