In Did Nadia Bolz-Weber Just Call Jesus “A Schmuck”? I reminded our many new readers, particularly those who’ve come to Apprising Ministries because of our coverage of the recent tragic vote mortally wounding the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), that AM has long been maintaining Mainstream Evangelicalism Is Now On The Rapid Slide To Apostasy. The main reason for this is because of its ongoing embrace of the egregiously ecumenical Emerging Church aka Emergent Church—morphing into Emergence Christianity—(EC).

And so along this line I have reminded you a few times now about the upcoming Emerging Church conference Christianity 21 (C 21) October 9-11.  It’s important to keep in mind that C 21 is being put on by a most dubious duo of the EC, theologian Tony Jones and his equally heretical quasi-universalist pastor Doug Pagitt. As AM previously pointed out Jo-Pa have informed us that “all 21 of these Voices,” women who’ll be revealing “the way the Christianity will be changing in coming days” are also going to “be in a pulpit somewhere in the Twin Cities that Sunday morning.”

One character among alleged “innovative” and “most important voices for the future of Christianity” who’ll “speak into our future” in order to “shape the future of our faith” at C 21 will be “queer inclusive” ELCA “pastor,” and former “professional f**k-up,” Nadia Bolz-Weber. By the way Sojouners is the God’s Politics (GP) “blog by Jim Wallis & friends,” and if you didn’t know, Wallis is one of those Red Letter Christians along with notable names ’round the EC like Brian McLaren, Living Spiritual Teacher “father” Richard Rohr and Tony Campolo. If for some reason you still doubt there’s a growing gay affiming agenda in the EC, you need to know that mere minutes later Emergent Village would Tweet:

I’m warning you that such as these have been infecting Young Adult and Youth ministries for years now while they’ve also been imbedding themselves deeply into evangelical publishing houses, seminaries, and denominational leadership structures. This EC cult of a postliberalism learned well from their evil forebears in what leading cult expert Dr. Walter Martin (1928-1989) labeled “the Cult of Liberalism” shortly before he graduated to be with Jesus.

It’s actually her “sermon,” such as it is, concerning the ridiculous vote by the dying ELCA; a foolish decision to fully embrace clergy in open and unrepentant sinful rebellion against God, all the while committing sexual immorality by having sexual relations with another of the same sex i.e homosexuality. This issue is right now ripping apart those mainline denominations left who’ve yet to cave; but truthfully, it’s only a matter of time.

We covered Bolz-Weber’s shallow centered on the self thoughts previously in Nadia Bolz-Weber Weighs In On ELCA Church-Wide Assembly. So, in closing this for now I’ll send the warning again; as I said in Protestant Churches Shifting Toward Affirming Homosexuality, the EC is pushing forward gay affirming homopressive people like Nadia Bolz-Weber and pretending “pastor” Jay Bakker, in fact Bolz-Weber has already aligned herself with the despicable bunch slithering up around Bakker who anointed themselves outlaw preachers.

And the reason you’re seeing Emergent Village making sure we know about Bolz-Weber’s latest wishful musings about their “stick it to the Ceasar man” Jesus, and the reason we’re now seeing Bakker’s twisted and perverted version of God’s grace now being promoted by the very popular EC outlet The Ooze, is because the Emerging Church has a gay affirming agenda that it’s now openly advancing. You had best be aware that there’s a very dark and threatening same-sex storm that is right now approaching hurricane force, and which is currently only slightly off the coast of the mainstream evangelical community.
