Bed-Time Fables With Jurgen

This is just a quick follow up on the Apprising Ministries post The Emergence Of A New God where we shared something that gay affirming PCUSA “pastor” Nanette Sawyer, one of the “most important voices for the future of Christianity” who’ll be speaking at next month’s pseudo-Christian extravaganza called Christianity 21, Tweeted:

#moltmann God is not in control of everything. God is bearing and carrying everything. (Online source)

You’ll note above: #moltmann; this takes you to a stream at Twitter, which you can read even if you read even if you don’t happen to have an account. There you can follow what those who’ve been attending an Emergent Village Gathering honoring Christian Universalist Jurgen Moltmann called Theological Conversation With Jurgen Moltmann (TCJM), wrapping up today, are sharing in their idolatry concerning this dreamer.

Like the up-coming c 21, this heresy-fest is thrown by JoPa Productions, the  company formed by Emerging Church theologian Tony Jones and his quasi-universalist Emergent Church pastor Doug Pagitt.  Concerning the quote above about some god with a man-shaped hole in its heart—who is essentially a bigger version of man—one of my sources at TCJM confirmed that it was a statement by Moltmann; as is the following Jehovah’s Witnessesque dream:

“i don’t want to go to heaven…i want to live in a new earth where justice dwells”

And according to Moltmann the church of Emergence Christianity has two Marxist-like missions as its social gospel, but apparently preaching the actual Gospel of Jesus Christ is not among them:

“The church has 2 tasks, care for a society’s sick & a prophetic voice against society’s illness.”

From what I’ve been told by eyewitnesses at TCJM, as well as following #moltmann and http://twubs.com/moltmann, we’re dealing with a clear case of the above text of Scripture. And because such as these e.g. Rob Bell, the Elvis of Emergence, have long ago embedded themselves into evangelical publishing houses, seminaries, denominational structures, and youth ministries The Nightmare Is Only Beginning For Mainstream Evangelicalism.
