IS BROTHER JOHN MY BROTHER IN CHRIST?

Yesterday, I stumbled upon the YouTube video below titled, Are “Christian Ministries” Adding To The “Word of God”? by a guy named Brother John. In the video, Brother John voices his concerns about the Open Heavens Bible which, he says, is published by Fresh Fire Ministries, and includes commentary by Todd Bentley.
Brother John also said that “thousands”of these bibles are being sent to Haiti which, if true, will cause additional problems for the Haitians. Brother John also voiced concerns over the Joyce Meyer bible and others. Sound good? Read on.
On the outside, Brother John voices his concerns over materials produced by a few heretics and false prophets. That’s good. But on the inside, he clearly states that,
I can no longer deny what is going on inside of me. Though I can draw much inspiration and truths from the writers of the bible, I can no longer see it as the inerrant, infallible Word of God. As far as Jesus Christ I can no longer say he is God but a very anointed (Christ) prophet with very valuable teachings. As far as the resurrection I am agnostic. The accounts contradict and are inconsistent.
If ETERNAL SALVATION is of the utmost important to God and our lives, I think God would of wrote a better book and Jesus would of wrote something as well and it would of been well preserved.
I can never deny the existence of God because of the very experiences I have had. I have now discovered Deism – the belief that we know God through Nature – which is his universal Word, reason which God has given us and our experiences. I still hold Jesus Christ teachings and way of life to the highest regard – He taught the Most Important Law – Love God & Love your neighbor as yourself also. (Online source)
Indeed Brother John’s denials remind me of overhearing Mormon missionaries and Jehovah’s Witnesses arguing about who’s right and who’s wrong, and calling each other “cults.” Their arguments cancelled each other out and were a waste of time, because neither are Christian in the first place.
Brother John does not believe God’s written word is infallible and inerrant. He denies that Jesus Christ is God. He views the resurrection of Jesus Christ within an agnostic frame of mind, and downplays the eternal salvation of the believer. That’s very bad, and sad.
However, Brother John claims to believe in the existence of God (through nature, that is), and claims to hold Jesus’ teachings and way of life in the highest regard. Hmmm, even Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses believe in the existence of a “god,” but not the true God of the Bible.
Jesus warned, Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins (John 8:24).
So, is Brother John my brother in Christ? No. He calls my Lord and Savior a liar. But I will remember Brother John, in prayer.
