WITHOUT WALLS CHURCH OF PAULA WHITE IN LAWSUIT
By Ken Silva pastor-teacher on Aug 17, 2011 in Current Issues, Features, Word Faith
While spiritual darkness continues to creep across apostatizing evangelicalism in The New Downgrade No-Controversy, a major part of my commission as pastor-teacher here at Apprising Ministries becomes helping to apprise you of developing trends within the church visible during this time running parallel to Amos 8:11-12.
As a leading online apologetics and discernment labor in the Lord, for the time I may have left due to funding approaching a critical low, I’ll continue reminding you about the vital importance of the proper Christian spirituality of sola Scriptura and to expose the growing syncretism slithering into the visble Christian community.
I’ve already clearly shown you that Word Faith Heretics Like Creflo Dollar Draw Nearer To Evangelical Acceptance. As a matter of fact Seeker Driven/Purpose Driven prophet-pastor Steven Furtick just recommended one to me in Steven Furtick Sends Ken Silva Message.
You’ll see in Rick Warren, Cindy Trimm, Paula White & The Law Of Attraction this is all alot closer to the mainstream than you may even know. I encourage you to make the time to check the facts for yourself because this is absolutely not guilt-by-association or some silly 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon.
No, Rick Warren is guilty by personal endorsement of a Word Faith pastrix by the name of Laverne Adams who is a direct disciple of, i.e. teaches the same things as, well known WF propserity pastrix Dr. Cindy Trimm. Trimm is essentially a female T.D. Jakes and a close friend of WF huckster Paula White.
So now you should see why I’m covering this story. If you don’t know, in violation of God’s Word, Paula White—with whacked Word Faith “prophet” Manasseh Jordan below—is senior pastrix of Without Walls International Church – Tampa, Florida, which she planted with her then husband “Bishop” Randy White.
The Whites divorced in 2007, which brings us to Without Walls Sues Lakeland Pastor Randy Coggins where, contra 1 Corinthians 6:1-8, The Ledger.com reporter Gary White reports:
A Lakeland pastor faces a lawsuit from Tampa-based Without Walls International Church after leaving its Lakeland satellite ministry in July to form his own congregation. Randy L. Coggins and his newly created Bridge of Hope Church are defendants in a civil complaint filed last week in the 10th Judicial Circuit Court in Bartow.
In the complaint, Without Walls International claims Coggins used his position as executive pastor at Lakeland’s Without Walls Central to lure members of the congregation to his own ministry, Bridge of Hope Church. The suit seeks damages in excess of $15,000.

Hmm, you may already know that a major part of pastrix Paula’s shtick is sowing seed (money) into a ministry—namely hers—quid pro quo, so that God is then obligated to bless the giver for their giving. Well, perhaps she should consider this her sowing into Bridge of Hope Church; ah, but I digress.
Gary White goes on to tell us that Coggins “wasn’t aware of the lawsuit until being told about it Monday afternoon by a reporter.” Then he informs us Coggins said:
“This caught me totally by surprise, and my heart is very heavy,” said Coggins, 45. “I just pray this will be able to be resolved in a Godly and Christian manner. These are churches we’re talking about, and churches are not supposed to engage in this arena.” (Online source)
While I certainly take issue with his theology, I do agree with Coggins in this area; it only serves to make Christians look greedy. I realize 0f course in the Word Faith arena that’s actually a redundant statement. White continues:
Coggins was hired in February as executive pastor at Without Walls Central, a North Lakeland ministry operated by Without Walls International Church Inc.. The main Tampa church, founded by Randy and Paula White in the early 1990s, once ranked as the second-largest congregation in the country. (Online source)
A good example of the truth of 2 Timothy 4:3-4:
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
This kind of pragmatic mythology is actually a hallmark of the man-centered Church Growth Movement that’s pandemic today within the broader evangelcal community; to paraphrase a famous line from Field of Dreams, “If you preach it (what they want to hear), they will come.”
Gary White then tells us:
The complaint alleges that in July Coggins made “derogatory statements and allegations” about Without Walls International from the pulpit of the Lakeland branch, just before branching off to create his own church.
Coggins, who uses the title “bishop,” would not respond to the details of the complaint. (Online source)
Supposed “bishops” are quite common in the world of Word Faith but what they preside over is not always so clear. And finally, White explains:
The complaint accuses Coggins of breaching a code of conduct pledge he signed upon being hired and of converting “personal property, cash and assets for his personal use.”…
Senior pastors Scott and Cindy Thomas led the congregation until the end of last year, when they departed to form Free Life Chapel, which meets at The Lakeland Center.
Without Walls International has generated controversy in recent years. The Whites divorced in 2007. The church has faced congressional scrutiny and financial distress, along with the embarrassment of Randy White’s DUI arrest in May. (Online source)
Therein we hit the heart of the matter: Without Walls is facing some financial distress. It also reveals the emptiness of propserity preaching. If Paula White’s message actually worked, the church would prosper.
