TUSCAN ROMAN CATHOLIC MONKS PRAY FOR DIARRHEA
By Ken Silva pastor-teacher on Aug 21, 2011 in Current Issues, Features, Roman Catholicism
You just couldn’t make up many of the bizarre goings on that Apprising Ministries brings you as spiritual darkness spreads across the wider visible church.
With this fresh, we come to guardian.co.uk‘s reporter in Rome, Tom Kington, and his story Tuscan friars ask God to deliver diarrhoea for basilica bible thief.
Uh, it seems some Roman Catholic Franciscan monks of San Salvatore al Monte have become more than a bit cantankerous concerning an “unknown villain” and decided to “pin up [a] prayer.”
Kington informs us:
Friars at the 15th century church of San Salvatore al Monte, which was a favourite of Michelangelo, were irritated when a rare and expensive bible disappeared from the lectern, and they flew off the handle when a replacement bible donated by a worshipper also went missing and within a few hours. Well, that’s certainly understandable; but wait until you see what these mystic Roman Catholic priests did. Kington continues:
Franciscan friars furious at the theft of bibles from their church in Florence have taken the unusual step of praying for the thief to be struck down by diarrhoea. (Online source)
Huh? Of all the things they could pray for, they choose that? Well now, it would appear that mystics aren’t always as loving and sweet and tolerant as they like to put on.
The sophomoric reprobates in the neo-liberal cult operating within the Emerging Church, fellows of the friars, will love this:
In a note, pinned up in full view of worshippers, the friars say they hope the thief sees the error of his ways. But in case he does not, they add: “We pray to God that the thief is struck by a strong bout of the sh**s.”
This turn of events will, they hope, “encourage him to carry out no further thefts”.

Being these men are serving an antichrist in the apostate Roman Catholic Church with its false gospel we’re really not surprised to see sinners acting like sinners.
Not even when they go to great lengths to try and justify it:
Described by La Stampa newspaper as “the product of the Tuscan ability to be ironic about anything”, the note and its unorthodox request will be forgiven, claim one of the friars.
“It is not exactly clean language,” the friar said, “but we couldn’t put up with it any longer. The Lord and the faithful will understand.” (Online source)
Jesus even died for this kind of sin; may they all find repentance and forgiveness of sins in Christ’s name, for salvation is by God’s grace alone, through faith alone, in the finished word of Christ alone on the Cross.
