WHAT DO JOHN PIPER AND BETH MOORE HAVE IN COMMON?

Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. Yet she will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control. (1 Timothy 2:11-15)
The Apostle Paul was quite clear about a woman’s role in the church. Yet these days it doesn’t seem to matter. Whether they are standing in a pulpit bearing the title of “pastor,” or whether they are starring in their very own Bible-teaching hour on TBN, female Bible teachers abound and, sadly, an overwhelming majority of them are guilty of twisting, abusing and misusing the Scripture. As if this isn’t horrendous enough (and it is), those women who are false teachers also happily allow men to sit under their erroneous teaching.
Case in point: The Passion 2012 Conference. This conference is going on right now in Atlanta, and is largely for students.
It has a very interesting lineup of speakers, which brings me to the question asked in the title of this post: What do John Piper and Beth Moore have in common?
Well, they are both headlining at this conference, along with other famous names such as Francis Chan and Christine Caine.
Yes, that’s right, the SBC’s very own Beth Moore, who receives direct revelation and visions from God, who believes that the Roman Catholic Church is actually a Christian denomination, is preaching to tens of thousands alongside supposedly reformed men like John Piper and Francis Chan. And, as you’ll recall from this article, Christine Caine of Hillsong is hardly any more doctrinally sound in her teaching.
There are undoubtedly many young men who are counted among the thousands of students joining in this event. And then we have men like James MacDonald proclaiming these women to be among the “world’s best” preachers … and we have James MacDonald’s sons, who are both pastors on staff with student ministries at Harvest Bible Chapel, attending Passion 2012 and willingly being taught by these women who are disobedient to the Word of God.
(Online Source) May we continue to pray that God would open wide the eyes of the deceived.
