WORD FAITH PROSPERITY PREACHER JOSEPH PRINCE

Apprising Ministries has received requests about information concerning a rising star in the Word Faith ranks by the name of Joseph Prince. However, the iceberg of apostasy which has now appeared is huge.

Unfortunately, there’s so much to cover and since i don’t have a staff I do the research, writing, etc. myself. I try and do what I can to cover as much of what I see as the more important players and issues.

Sometimes they fly under the radar; such is the case with Prince. As time allows I plan to give you more, but for now, I did mention him in Steven Furtick, Hillsong Heresy Conference & Rick Warren.

Although slicker and more understated than most, Joseph Prince preaches the same WF prosperity message as WF royalty like Kenneth Copeland. Consider the tweet Retweeted today by TBN, which shows their agreement:

While God promises spiritual prosperity, nowhere in Scripture will you find the Lord extending some promise of financial prosperity to all believers. Joseph Prince is:

A founding member of New Creation Church, Joseph initially served as an elder and associate pastor. However, his unanimous appointment as senior pastor in 1990 marked a turning point in the history of the church, which started experiencing phenomenal growth.

Under Joseph’s leadership, the church congregation has grown by more than a hundredfold—from about 150 to more than 24,000. (source)

Bottom line is: “Pastor” Joseph Prince is an up-and-coming WF heretic who’s already a staple at TBN, itself a WF haven of heretics. In closing this out, for now, let me tell you a little about Kenneth Hagin (1917-2003).

Hagin is widely acknowledged as the father of the Word Faith movement. For those not familiar with the man known within WF simply as “Dad Hagin,” he was a:

Teacher, prolific author, and advocate of the “Word of Faith” (Positive Confession) message… Hagin began as an itinerant ministry as a Bible teacher and evangelist in 1949. During the following 14 years he [allegedly] had a series of eight visions of Jesus Christ, who in the third vision granted him the gift of discerning of spirits,… ((Stanley M. Burgess, Eduard M. van der Maas, Editors, Ed van der Maas, Author, The New International Dictionary of Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements [Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 2002] ,687))

In his book A Different Gospel D.R. McConnell, who “did graduate work at Oral Roberts University in theological and historical studies,” also correctly points out that:

Although there is little doubt that E.W. Kenyon is its founding father, the contemporary [Word] Faith movement is virtually incomprehensible without explicating the role played in it by Kenneth Hagin.

Kenyon may have authored the teachings on which the [Word] Faith movement is based. But Hagin is the man who fashioned these teachings into the fastest growing movement in charismatic Christendom.

All of the major ministers of the [Word] Faith movement admit Hagin’s tutelage. He is universally recognized in the movement as both a teacher and a prophet. ((Dan R. McConnell, A Different Gospel: Biblical and Historical Insights into the Word of Faith Movement [Peabody: Hendrickson, 1995], 55))

With all of this in mind then, there is no doubt as to where Joseph Prince stands as you watch him advancing Word Faith mythology below while praising the heretical Kenneth Hagin and exegeting his life:
