Here’s another vivd illustration as we begin by reminding you of Charismatic Quasi-Prosperity Preacher Judah Smith, which contained the following tweet from Seeker Driven General of the Army Rick Warren:

A couple of points in passing. First, obviously Judah Smith has Warren’s “love” and blessing. Secondly, Smith is co-lead pastor of a megachurch called The City Church in Seattle along with his wife pastrix Chelsea. ((http://thecity.org/interns, accessed 10/3/12.))

Yet oddly enough, while answering the question Is It Wrong for Men to Listen to Female Speakers? John Piper appeals to Rick Warren as an authority on the subject:

The Bible is clear that women shouldn’t teach and have authority over men. In context, I think this means that women shouldn’t be the authoritative teachers of the church—they shouldn’t be elders. That is the way Rick Warren is understanding it, and most of us understand it that way. (source)

Well, in spite of his being in contradiction to the above and, more importantly, being in outright rebellion to God’s Word by having his wife as an elder, it appears Rick Warren still “deeply” believes in the ministry of Judah Smith.

The “bishop” to which Judah Smith refers is Brian Houston, senior pastor of the nefarious Word Faith Hillsong Church (HC) in Australia along with his wife pastrix Bobbie. Hmm, will you look at that; why, there’s Judah Smith as well. As I see it, merely peas in a corrupt spiritual pod.
