The other day Apprising Ministries pointed out in Brian McLaren Of Emerging Church To Celebrate Ramadan that Brian McLaren, unquestionably a leading theologian in the the egregiously ecumenical Emerging Church aka Emergent Church—currently morphing into Emergence Christianity—(EC) will be “will be joining Muslim friends in the fast which begins August 21.”

Now in the clip below from the Fighting For The Faith program, Pirate Christian Radio, Christian apologist Chris Rosebrough completely—and Biblically— deconstructs McLaren’s foolish violation of God’s teaching and command concerning Christians and those in false religions like Islam because:

they sacrifice to demons and not to God; and I do not want you to become sharers in demons (1 Corinthians 10:20, NASB). 

Then just as in Rob Bell And Another Gospel Rosebrough will go on to show the startling similarity in the false gospel (equals—no gospel) of “stick it to the Caesar man” spewed by both Brian McLaren and his disciple Rob Bell, without a doubt the Elvis of Emergence.

As you’ll hear, this is essentially a pseudo-Marxism, which is nearly identical to the non-gospel of Living Spiritual Teacher and “Progessive Christian” scholar Marcus Borg.  This postliberal reimagined social gospel has absolutely no place within orthodox Christianity period, let alone in Young Adult and Youth ministries, and quite likely already within your own mainstream evangelical church. 

The question you need to begin asking the plethora of Rip Van Winkles holding leadership positions within rapidly apostatizing evangelicalism is: Exactly how far off-course do men like Rob Bell and Brian McLaren have to be before you finally say, “Enough.”
