In a two part series over at Pulpit Magazine Nathan Williams fills us in his trip the Mars Hill Bible Church where Emerging Church icon Rob Bell is the teaching pastor:

Anyone who has read blogs for any amount of time, has no doubt entered into a discussion, or at least read one on the topic of the emerging church. I’ve read several books by authors who are considered a part of the emerging church and have also read books and articles evaluating this movement. But until a couple of weeks ago I hadn’t had the chance to visit a church built on the ideas and philosophy of the emerging church and postmodernism. That all changed when I recently was on vacation and had the opportunity to attend Mars Hill Bible Church in Grandville, Michigan, which is led by Rob Bell. (Online source)
