And the catchy little song which opens and closes the show says, “Everyone’s welcome at The Potter’s House.” Well, everyone that is except Apprising Ministries. You may be aware that in But Southern Baptists Say Ok To “Bishop” T.D. Jakes I have been covering a story which is a non-story to slumbering evangelical leaders, which we can see pretty clearly in I’m A Christ Follower, Who Cares Who God Is?

Be that as it may, in the former piece I point out that Word Faith mogul and Oneness Pentecostal heretic Dr. T.D. Jakes will be sharing the pulpit at Fellowship Church (SBC) with Ed Young, Jr. as well as with two time President of the Southern Baptist Convention Dr. Ed Young during Creative Church Conference 2007.

The really sad part about this issue of the denial of the Holy Trinity by T.D. Jakes–which means he believes in another god–is how soft-hearted and apparently even softer-headed evangelicals are jumping to Jakes’ defense. By some I have even been accused of misunderstanding and misrepresenting the views of T.D. Jakes, who is undoubtedly an adherent of Oneness Pentecostalism.

T.D. Jakes Be Man And Tell People Clearly What You Believe

But the absolute truth is Jakes has been contacted many times by many ministries proving him an opportunity state that he does not believe what I show clearly that he does. However, instead Jakes just continues to leave the Oneness Pentecostal language up at the website of The Potter’s House because…well, he is Oneness Pentecostal. Even Jakes’ ordination and his associations make this very clear for anyone who wishes to see.

And you may recall that in Letter To Dr. T.D. Jakes Asking For His Definitive View On The Trinity I even wrote T.D. Jakes myself back on January 6, 2007. I let him know up front who the Lord is pleased to have me work with and I then offered these various forums I have been given by Christ for him to set the record straight.

But T.D. Jakes hasn’t responded and he is not going to because I have accurately stated to him what he believes. Please know that Dr. Jakes is welcome to his beliefs but he does not believe in the God of the Bible, therefore it is another god entirely. And Steve Camp was exactly right when he said just about a year ago:

Mr. Jakes, by his own statement of faith and confession, denies the existence of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit – the Trinity. He worships a different god than the one triune God of the Bible. He is a heretic and must renounce this severe departure from orthodoxy before being embraced as a genuine brother in the Lord. But this is written to say Dr. T.D. Jakes be a man and finally admit to your own beliefs just as I did mine when I wrote to you. For this is what the Lord says:

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My Mouth. (Revelation 3:15-16, KJV)
